The Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals 2010
It was one long, hot – no, make that, VERY hot – day last June 27 in Tacloban City for many of us photographers and photo enthusiasts who covered the Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals under the heat of the unmerciful sun.
As expected, the Buyogan Festival of Abuyog, Leyte bagged the top prize – a cool P500,000 – with their terrific, frenzied and simply “wow!” performance making one Manila blogger predict that Buyogan would grab again the 2011 Grand Champion title of next year’s Sinulog Festival of Cebu and the Aliwan Festival of Festivals in Metro-Manila.

Fourth runner up – Pamilipig Festival of Santa Fe, Leyte
Third runner up – Pasaka Festival of Tanauan, Leyte
Second runner up – Viajedores Festival of La Paz, Leyte
First runner up – Karatong Festival of Dulag, Leyte
Champion: Buyogan Festival of Abuyog, Leyte

hai, memorable tlaga ang kasadyaan….hndi q tlaga malilimutan, kasi nkasali talaga ako, im one of the dancers of Binaybayon Festival….kahit di kami nanalo, ok lang, kasi babawi kami sa susunod. Uhm kung may pics pa kayo, i upolad nyo po huh….

wooot wooot proud to be an abuyognon. i watch aliwan every year here in manila. it’s so amazingly great to watch my kababayans perform and i’m very very proud to have abuyog blood running through my veins. kudos to you guys!
