A Moment in Time – New York Times project

New York TimesLens recently had the Moment in Time project where they invited photographers around the world to take any relevant photo at the same instant wherever they may be on Sunday, May 2, at 15:00 hours (U.T.C.) – that was 11:00PM Philippine time, last May 2, 2010.

The project aimed to showcase photos capturing this singular instant in whatever way which could add to a global mosaic – a Web-built image of one moment in time across the world.

Here’s my photo contribution which I submitted:

Barbeque vendor at Balyuan Park, Tacloban City, Philippines.

11:00 PM, May 02, 2010.

New York Times received thousands of photographs taken at that singular moment (albeit within a 5-minute window allowance – from 11:00-11:05PM) from all over the world.

My photo contribution appears here: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/05/03/blogs/a-moment-in-time.html?src=tp#/4bddafe00bca255b96000419
