Paru-parong Bukid nature trip
Paru-parong Bukid Nature Conservation Center formally opened its gates to the public yesterday, Dec. 13, 2009.
With the intermittent shower driving me back to seek shelter at least three times, I was barely able to get decent photos.
Here are samplers taken during yesterday’s soft opening…
Paru-parong Bukid Nature Conservation Center offers the family a fun-filled day. Activities include fishing, kayaking in a mangrove area, fun with butterflies inside a butterfly farm, strolling around the lush gardens in a mini-forest like scenario and simply communing with nature.
Paru-parong Bukid Center is located in Brgy. Lukay, Babatngon, Leyte, just a few kilometers further down the highway from Rafael’s Farm.

I fondly recall the field trips we conducted as part of the “Busy Molecules” club at DWU high school. I was in first year high school then, and I used to have a crush on one of the members in 2nd year, who came from Burauen. She was very cute! Ahhh, those memories…
amazingly beautiful!!! bravo, gerry!
