  2. Thanks, Ed! Very encouraging!

  3. Hi Gerry! The information in your weblog is very useful for us airline staff who travel frequently for vacations and discovering new places around the world. I always recommend the Philippines to my airline buddies who are always looking for out-of-the-way, off-the-beaten-path travel destinations. Keep up the great work for showcasing the natural beauty of eastern visayas!…..Raoul Vecina (AirCanada,VancouverIntlAirport)

  4. Hi Raoul! Thanks a lot for your kind comments & feedback not only here but also in the other posts of the photoblog!

  5. Hi Gerry,

I am adding your website to my multiply’s links. I hope it’s ok and I hope to get my friends’ awareness of cool stuff that you do. More power to you!

  6. Thanks, Graes! Guess what, I sometimes crosslink my posts at multiply! Check out http://gdruiz73.multiply.com/. The full posts are placed here, though ;)

  7. Hi Gerry, I am now a fan of yours. Congratulations for a job well done. I have done photography once but since it is an expensive hobby, especially then when pictures were taken with film, I decided to do away with it. Digital cameras were only found on sci-fi movies at that time (I’m 42 now). But my love of photography has not vanished and dreamed that someday I can also own a high-end digital camera or even a modest one.

I really appreciate how you artistically took your pictures. Even those ordinary scenes become a work of art. Since you are at it already, Gerry, I would like to suggest that you will include in your posts or topics, different buildings/churches/houses/etc. in Tacloban City or in Leyte, be it old or new/modern. I came across websites, forums, blogs from other provinces that published pictures of different buildings in their communities and it is well appreciated. Others commented (especially those living abroad) how their place of birth has grown. Others were more nostalgic.

Anyway, Gerry, I think I have taken much of your space already. Keep up the good work and God Bless…

  8. Hi Orlom! Thank you for taking time to post your comments here. Your suggestion is well taken. In fact, I am slowly building up my inventory on pics of old churches (I have several of them already, still waiting to be posted here) but I still don’t have much on buildings. I’ll definitely take up on your suggestion. Big thanks!
