Putting out to sea
Daybreak at White Beach, San Jose, Tacloban City
Members of the Camera Club of Leyte & Samar/Litratista were up very early this morning (4:30AM) for a sunrise shoot at White Beach, San Jose, Tacloban City.
The east horizon had an overcast sky as a tandem of fishermen puts out to sea, the otherwise peaceful scene rudely interrupted with the arrival of the early morning flights…

Sir Gerry, just want to ask how to join the camera club of leysam? Do you need to be a pro? I just have an entry level DSLR so obviously my equipment is not at par with everyone else. Also, I am not based anymore in Tacloban but would occasionally go home during Christmas/holidays. I am keen to spend time to explore my hometown (like what you guys do) and take beautiful photographs to bring back and share with my colleagues.

The Camera Club of Leyte & Samar is a club whose membership is composed of photo hobbyists & pros based in Tacloban City which requires actual physical attendance in meetings & participation in various club activities, among other requirements.
