Sinulog ’09 highlights
Finally, I was able to post-process the initial photos taken during the recent Cebu Sinulog 2009. This forms part of more-to-follow photo galleries on Sinulog ’09 I hope to post here.
The initial gallery, which contains 157 photos, features the Grand Sinulog Parade highlights, the Free Interpretation category and its winners – the Buyogan Festival, this year’s champion, as well as the other contingents from Eastern Visayas, namely: Tacloban’s Tribu Kabatok (Best in Production, Sinulog ’09 Festival Queen); Tribu Karatong of Dulag, Leyte (5th place, Free interpretation and 1st Runner -up, Sinulog ’09 Festival Queen) and the Karasikas Performing Arts Guild of Eastern Samar State University of Borongan, Eastern Samar.
Tribu Buyuganon of Abuyog, Leyte was a crowd favorite – it won the People’s Choice Text Poll (of Smart & Globe) garnering the most number of text votes.
