Rage, rage against the dying of the light!
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Dylan Thomas, 1951 or 1952
I am reminded of this famous poem “Do Not Go Gentle” by Dylan Thomas after visiting a relative currently engaged in a major battle versus the big “C.”
Photos taken March 29, 2008 along the Mactan Channel in Cebu on board a fastcraft on our way home to Tacloban City via Ormoc City.

Gerry,
Whoever it may be - I am so sorry… (I can emphatize with the feeling you had at the moment you were viewing the dying light, it makes the photos all the more poignantly beautiful)
